This Dobsonian designed instrument is one of my top rated telescopes; and is sure to astonish your son or grandson as they explore the universe around us and view distant planets, stars, galaxies, and nebula.

Let me reiterate that this portable telescope would be ideal for your son or grandson to start their explorations of the stars above.  They will be able to familiarize themselves with its use, and to be able to grab it and go anywhere, and set it up quickly once they arrive makes it even better.
